Seven Directions Institute of Art and Science is Santa Cruz’s premiere creative center for kids. SDI offers art and science instruction in a lively 2000-square-foot studio with over 100 live animals and countless 3D models to inspire creativity in every student.

Art TenPak, our set of drop in classes for busy families.

All classes currently have spaces available. Classes meet four time per month for 2 hours. Enrollment is monthly. Children may enroll any time. Encaustic Painting Workshops
In association with Redlines Studio, Ben Hecht will be offering a series of beginning and advanced encaustic (beeswax) painting workshops, available to older teens and adults. Please click here for more information.

Free Intro Class
A free intro class is available for new students during our weekly program from September through June. Intro classes are not available during seasonal camps.
