The home school program offers kids a thematic, in depth art experience. Consisntely, kids in this program have the opportunity to work together to make projects froma wide range of materiasl and diciplines.
There are two home school classes. Monday 1-3 home school is geared to kids approximately 4-8 years old and the Tuesday 1-3 class is for kids 8 and older. There is also overlap, especially for siblings. Currently kids in the Tuesday advanced class are working on altered books. Students in the beginning class recently finished portraits of the exotic birds housed at the school.
Students from the HomeSchool class proudly display their didgeridoos. During the project, students learned about Australian Aboriginal art, Dreamtime, and traditional motifs. However, each student designed their own didgeridoo, to reflect their own creative spirit. The HomeSchool class always has the best projects!
