2010 Spring Camps

LiveDraw
AND
Animation Workshop

April 5th-April 9th

This year's Spring Art Camp is now enrolling. This year two camps will be offered during one week. In the morning block, kids will participate in LiveDraw. They will use pencils, charcoal, soft pastels to draw from the wide range of live animals and 3D sculptures at the Institute. They will also have the opportunity to draw digitally on our 10 tablet computers.

In the afternoon they will have the chance to create stop motion animation movies during Animation Workshop camp. Some kids may even tie together their drawing and films into a single, larger product.

Camps are multi-age and available to kids 4 and older. During Summer 2009, several children as young as 5 years old were able to make amazing movies during Animation Workshop. LiveDraw is suitable for kids as young as 4.

Teacher to student ratio in seasonal camps is 8 to 1 or better.

Kids may enroll in AM, PM or all day.

9AM-12:30PM

This year, a smaller second spring camp will be offered to accommodate children mostly from Holy Cross School and Twin Lakes Christian School. Kids from all schools are welcome to attend. Kids will create 2D and 3D art using drawing materials, paint, collage, digital art, and found objects in a variety of projects that will expand their skills and approaches to art making. It will be a fun, colorful, messy camp. The cost is $200 Online enrollment will be posted soon.
